Hey gang, long time since Tuesday nights...

I went for my complimentary visit with Anagha at Austin Somatics.  Having only had pain relief from Chiropractic and deep tissue massages, I am always interested in something non-invasive to ease the pain of several chronic injuries.  Anagha was so passionate in our Venture Forth sessions because what she does WORKS.  Being skeptical by nature, I went in with an open mind, shut off my phone so I was really present, then let her walk me through initial posture assessment, and finally movement work.  The difference is that this isn't stretching, it isn't yoga, but it offers some of the same benefits and is more about decreasing the pain in order to get rid of it.  What it is is relief!  I know longer want "pain management" nor do I want to suck it up and just live with it, I want it to move out, you know.  Funny what we get used to, not noticing until it eases up how fatigued it makes us.  After walking through the movements very slowly 1-2 times, you feel everything start to ease up, then the next time you go through the motion, your range broadens.  I believe this is a fairly easy to learn, non-invasive therapy, but it definitely requires someone very knowledgeable in the right movements like Anagha.  She is very focused, aware, knows the correct, helpful range of motions, and is damn strong!  

You may not be living with heavy, lingering pain like some of us, but I guarantee you that sitting in front of the computer all day and driving alot is wreaking subtle havoc on your bodies.  Go get some relief and truly support a fellow entrepreneur.  It's free for the first time and it is worth your time.

I am going back in 10 days and I am more than happy to pay for my next session.
